How Accessible Boarding Works
Enroll in the Ride Accessibility Program at Guest Services first. You receive a sheet listing the rides you can ride, then you request a boarding time at each ride entrance. At the larger rides, mobility-impaired guests see the ambassador at the main entrance and are given a return time on busier days, then board through the Quick Queue entrance and the assisted access route. Every coaster requires a transfer out of a wheelchair or ECV.
Two things decide more rides than height does. First, extremity requirements: several coasters need two functioning arms and two functioning legs, and leg prosthetics are not permitted on Mako, Manta, Kraken, or Infinity Falls. Second, restraint fit: test seats sit at Ice Breaker, Manta, Mako, and Kraken, and a chest measurement of 52 inches or more may not fit Kraken or Manta. Use the test seats early, before you spend a return time.

The Major Rides
1. Mako
Type: Hyper coaster | Height: 54" | Transfer: Yes
The tallest and fastest coaster in the park, with a 200-foot lift and long stretches of floating airtime rather than inversions. Transfer into a lap-bar seat. You must be able to grip with one functioning hand and have a minimum of two functioning limbs. Leg prosthetics are not permitted, and an additional full body harness is available for guests with amputations or without full extremities, which the ambassador must approve. A test seat sits at the entrance.
2. Kraken
Type: Floorless coaster | Height: 54" | Transfer: Yes
A 151-foot lift, 65 mph, and seven inversions, with your feet dangling and no floor beneath you. Transfer from your wheelchair into the ride vehicle. Guests entering through the exit are directed to rows 2 through 7, so if your group wants front or back row, one member has to wait in the standard front or back row queue. Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, broken collarbone, or any arm or leg cast may not ride. Prosthetic legs are not permitted, and chest dimensions of 52 inches or greater may not fit the restraint. Test seat available.
3. Manta
Type: Flying coaster | Height: 54" | Transfer: Yes
Florida's only flying coaster, which loads seated and then rotates you face-down for the ride. That position makes the restraint fit and body control requirements stricter than they look. You need to grip with one functioning hand and have a minimum of two functioning limbs. Leg prosthetics are not permitted, though above-knee and below-knee amputations may ride with a separate three-point harness and, in some cases, an individual leg restraint. Chest dimensions of 52 inches or greater may not fit. Test seat available.
4. Ice Breaker
Type: Launch coaster | Height: 48" | Transfer: Yes
Four launches, backward and forward, into a 93-foot spike with a 100-degree beyond-vertical drop. Guests between 48 and 54 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion. You need two functioning legs and two functioning arms and hands, full upper and lower body control, and the ability to put both feet under the shin pad. Accessible boarding routes through the Quick Queue entrance to the assisted access path. Test seat available.
5. Pipeline: The Surf Coaster
Type: Stand-up surf coaster | Height: 54" | Transfer: Yes
A stand-up coaster where riders stay upright on a surfboard-style platform at up to 60 mph. The riding position is the accessibility consideration: each rider must be able to remain standing upright with their head up and their back and shoulders against the seat back for the whole ride. Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, broken collarbone, or any arm or leg cast may not ride. Riders of larger size may not be accommodated.
6. Penguin Trek
Type: Family launch coaster | Height: 42" | Transfer: Yes
A snowmobile-themed launch coaster running up to 43 mph through an icy cavern, and the best bridge ride in the park between the family rides and the big five. Guests between 42 and 51 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion seated beside them, and guests over 78 inches may not ride. Useful detail from the park's guide: standard wheelchairs do not need the virtual queue here. Because this ride is newer than the current printed accessibility guide's ride section, confirm its rider requirements at the ride sign or with Guest Services.
7. Super Grover's Box Car Derby
Type: Family coaster | Height: 38" | Transfer: Yes
The Sesame Street Land coaster and a good first coaster for younger riders. Guests between 38 and 41 inches must be accompanied by a supervising companion. Guests using wheelchairs enter through the exit and transfer into the ride vehicle, and guests on ECVs transfer to the courtesy wheelchair provided at the exit before going up the ramp.
8. Journey to Atlantis
Type: Water coaster | Height: 42" | Transfer: Yes
A water coaster with a steep plunge and a genuinely soaking finish, plus dark enclosed sections. Guests between 42 and 48 inches need a supervising companion. You must be able to grip with one functioning hand, brace with one functioning leg, and have a minimum of three functioning limbs. Guests with a cervical collar or neck brace, broken collarbone, full arm cast, braced arm cast, or full leg cast may not ride. Skip it if dark enclosed spaces or strobe effects are a trigger.
9. Infinity Falls
Type: River rapids | Height: 42" | Transfer: Yes
A rapids ride with the tall drop at the end, and everyone gets wet. Guests 48 inches and taller may ride alone, guests between 42 and 48 inches need a supervising companion at least 14 years old, and guests over 77 inches or under 42 inches may not ride. No casts of any kind are permitted, and leg prosthetics are not permitted. You need a minimum of one functioning hand and one functioning leg.
10. Expedition Odyssey
Type: Suspended flying ride | Height: 39" | Transfer: Yes
The 2025 Arctic attraction, which suspends riders over a landscape with wind, scent, and sound effects and includes drops, swoops, and lifts. Guests between 39 and 48 inches need a supervising companion. Requirements match the big coasters more than the family rides: two functioning legs, two functioning arms and hands, full upper and lower body control, and both feet under the shin pad. It uses a virtual queue on busier days.
11. Sky Tower
Type: Observation ride | Height: 48" | Transfer: Varies
A slow rotating capsule with a view over the park and the I-Drive corridor. Guests must be 48 inches tall or accompanied by a supervising companion. Guests who cannot sit upright independently must be accompanied. This is the only ride in the park where oxygen tanks are permitted, and service animals may ride if the animal fits comfortably and safely in the capsule.
12. Paddle Boats
Type: Flamingo paddle boats | Height: 56" | Transfer: Yes
Pedal boats on the central lake, and a genuinely calm break in the middle of a hot day. Guests must be 56 inches tall or accompanied by a supervising companion. Wheelchair users transfer to a lift-stabilized boat and travel down a ramp from the life vest area to the dock, and ECV users transfer to the courtesy wheelchair near the life vest station first. At least one person in the boat must be able to pedal and to grip with one functioning hand, and all riders must be able to use the life vests. Service animals are permitted if they fit safely.

- No transfer, no height check: the aquariums, Shark Encounter, Dolphin Cove, the Rescue Center, and the stadium presentations.
