What Dollywood Is
Dollywood sits in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It pairs a serious coaster lineup, including Lightning Rod, Wild Eagle, and Mystery Mine, with craftspeople, live music, and the kind of food the park is genuinely known for. The setting is hilly, which matters for planning: grades and terrain shape an accessible day here as much as ride queues do.
How Access Works Here, in Short
Dollywood is staff-led rather than app-led. You start at the Ride Accessibility Center next to the Dollywood Emporium, where hosts set up a Boarding Pass, explain ride requirements, and open the Calming Room when needed. There is no online registration to complete in advance.
Read the full Dollywood Accessibility Guide before you go. It covers the Boarding Pass, the Calming Room, wheelchair and ECV rental, and the service-animal policy.
