How Accessible Boarding Works Here
The Access Guide says most attraction loading areas are wheelchair accessible through the attraction exit, and signs at or near each queue entrance point to the accessible route. Its chart names the access point for every ride, and we list it below. Assisted Access Pass holders board through the Fastrack entrance or the ride exit. Staff will not lift riders, and wheelchairs and ECVs cannot go on rides, so plan on someone in your party helping with each transfer. See the full accessibility guide for the pass and Guest Services.
Many rides here list two heights: the minimum to ride at all, and a higher height or age to ride without an adult. A supervising companion must be at least 14 and meet all the ride's requirements.
The Coasters and Big Rides
1. Galacticoaster
The indoor family coaster at the heart of LEGO Galaxy, which the park describes as a customizable LEGO space adventure. Riders must be at least 36 inches, and anyone under 48 inches rides with a responsible rider at least 14 years old and 48 inches or taller. Maximum height is 6 feet 6 inches for all riders. The Access Guide warns that guests with leg amputations or leg prostheses may not be able to ride, and guests with hand or arm amputations must meet a required level of hand and leg function. 2. The Dragon
An indoor and outdoor coaster that starts inside the LEGOLAND Castle on Castle Hill. Riders must be at least 40 inches; the Access Guide lists 48 inches to ride without an adult. Accessible entrance: ride exit.
3. LEGO Technic Coaster
A twisting, dropping coaster in the Imagination Zone. Riders must be at least 42 inches and 4 years old, and the Access Guide lists 48 inches and 6 years old to ride without an adult. The same prosthesis and amputation warning as Galacticoaster applies here. Accessible entrance: ride exit.
4. Coastersaurus
A family coaster that flies over Dino Valley past LEGO dinosaurs, including a thousand-pound Brachiosaurus. Riders must be at least 36 inches; the Access Guide lists 48 inches to ride without an adult. Accessible entrance: ride exit.
5. G-Force Test Facility
A LEGO Galaxy ride that swings, turns, and tilts riders through forces like the ones astronauts feel. Riders must be at least 40 inches, and the Access Guide adds at least 4 years old. Maximum height is 6 feet 4 inches. The prosthesis and amputation warning applies. The two official sources differ on riding alone: the Access Guide lists 56 inches and 10 years old to ride unaccompanied, while the park's ride page says riders under 56 inches and 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible rider at least 18 years old and 56 inches or taller. Plan on the stricter rule. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
6. LEGO NINJAGO The Ride
An interactive dark ride where riders control fireballs, lightning, shockwaves, and ice to defeat the Great Devourer. There is no minimum height, but riders under 48 inches must be with a responsible rider at least 14 years old and 48 inches or taller. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
7. Emmet's Flying Adventure
The headline ride in THE LEGO MOVIE World: a triple-decker flying couch inside a full-dome screen. Riders must be at least 40 inches, and anyone under 48 inches rides with a responsible rider at least 14 years old and 48 inches or taller. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
8. Unikitty's Disco Drop
A drop tower that lifts, drops, spins, and bounces riders in time with Unikitty's moods. Riders must be at least 40 inches, and anyone under 48 inches rides with a responsible rider at least 14 years old and 48 inches or taller. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
9. Lost Kingdom Adventure
A laser blaster dark ride in the Land of Adventure, battling mummies, skeletons, and snakes for treasure. Riders must be at least 30 inches; the Access Guide lists 48 inches to ride without an adult. Accessible entrance: ride exit.
10. Kid Power Tower
Riders climb a tower for a view of the park, then let themselves fall back to the bottom. Riders must be at least 40 inches; the Access Guide lists 48 inches to ride without an adult. Accessible entrance: ride exit.
11. LEGO City: Deep Sea Adventure
A submarine ride past real sea creatures with an interactive treasure hunt. Riders under 52 inches may only ride with a supervising companion at least 14 years old and 52 inches tall, and the Access Guide adds 8 years old to ride without one. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
12. Explorer River Quest
A boat ride through the Dino Valley jungle. No minimum height; the Access Guide lists 48 inches to ride without an adult. Accessible entrance: ride entrance.
Rides for the Smallest Riders
- Driving School and Junior Driving School: age-based, not height-based. Driving School is for ages 6 to 13 and Junior Driving School for ages 3 to 5. Both list the exit as the access point.
- Launch & Land: a LEGO Galaxy flight simulator for young kids, 34 inches minimum, and under 48 inches rides with a responsible rider.
- Skipper School and Captain Cranky's Challenge: 34 inches minimum, exit access.
- Beetle Bounce: riders between 36 and 55 inches, exit access.
- The Royal Joust: at least 36 inches and between 4 and 12 years old, exit access.
- DUPLO Little Dino Trail: no minimum height, exit access.
Low-Stimulation Rides Worth Planning Around
- Coast Cruise: a boat tour past MINILAND USA landmarks. No minimum height with an adult; exit access.
- LEGOLAND Express: a mini train on the edge of Fun Town. No minimum height; riders under 36 inches ride with someone 36 inches or taller. Exit access.
- Queen Watevra's Carousel: no minimum height with an adult. Exit access, and electric scooter users must transfer into a wheelchair.
- MINILAND USA: not a ride, but the park names it as one of its quieter areas.
Motion and Sensory Notes
The Access Guide flags rides that are not recommended if you are sensitive to motion sickness or dizziness, and BIONICLE Blaster, a spinning ride where the riders control the speed, is the obvious one to plan around.
