Top 10 Rides: Accessibility Guide

Transfer requirements, height limits, and accessible boarding details for Disneyland's best attractions.

⚠️ Ride accessibility details change. Always verify current requirements directly with the park. The official Disneyland Accessibility for Attractions PDF is available at disneyland.disney.go.com and at the Accessibility Services kiosks in the Esplanade.

How Accessible Boarding Works

Every attraction at Disneyland Resort has an accessible boarding option. Guests using wheelchairs, ECVs, or DAS use the alternative boarding entrance at each ride, typically separate from the main standby queue. Cast Members at each attraction direct guests to the appropriate entrance.

For DAS users: you request a return time in the Disneyland app, then go to the accessible entrance when your time arrives. You do not enter the standby queue.

Transfer requirements vary by attraction. "Must transfer" means the guest must move from their wheelchair or ECV into the ride vehicle. Cast Members bring the mobility device to the exit. Some rides have a Transfer Access Vehicle (TAV) for guests who need additional assistance with the transfer.

Top 10 Rides at Disneyland Resort

1. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Park: Disneyland Park  |  Height: None  |  Transfer: Partial

The first portion of the experience (the "transport shuttle" ride vehicle) is wheelchair accessible. The second ride vehicle, the trackless ride system, requires a transfer. Cast Members bring the wheelchair to the exit. A Transfer Access Vehicle is available. This is the park's most in-demand attraction; request your DAS return time first thing in the morning.

2. Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT!

Park: Disney California Adventure  |  Height: 40"  |  Transfer: Yes

Must transfer into the drop vehicle. A Transfer Access Vehicle is available at the accessible boarding area. The experience is a vertical drop tower with randomized sequences. Intense for sensory-sensitive guests.

3. Incredicoaster

5. Haunted Mansion

Park: Disneyland Park  |  Height: None  |  Transfer: No

7. Matterhorn Bobsleds

Park: Disneyland Park  |  Height: 35"  |  Transfer: Yes

Must transfer into a shared bobsled-style vehicle. Two separate tracks, both accessible. The ride vehicle requires guests to straddle a center bar, which may not work for all mobility situations. Ask Cast Members about the specific seat configuration before queuing.

8. Space Mountain
